Gembun koban (koban gold) were minted from the first year of the Genbun Era to the first year of the Bunsei Era (1736-1818).
They are also known as Genbun koban because of the Chinese characters on their backs.
Twenty-four new Genbun koban have been added to the collection.
All of them come with certificate of authenticity and paulownia box.
